Had breakfast at Emma's (No.8) and left at 08:45. Met the Doctor and said our farewells. At Fort Gouraud  we were told to report back to Zouerate so had to return.Eventually left at 10:30 on track from Zouerate. Made good progress.
Met L/R with a flat tyreand the driver wanted us to take him 30km in the direction we had come from but we refused.
After dark we were stopped by a jeep full of suspicious characters so we told them two other vehicles were behind us and drove off at speed.We spent the night camped in the Police compound for security.
