Re-unions
Over the years there have been numerous re-unions between Mo , Nick and Pat both in groups of two and groups of three. But always without Chris as he emigrated to Canada and was "lost" to us.
After some detective work in 2012 Chris's sister Diane was located and she put us back in contact with Chris.
Highbury Hill 40 year Re-union
August 2009 London. Mo Nick and Pat along with other City colleagues met up for the weekend to renew old friendships. Activities included a visit to the University and to Tate Modern.Expedition 45 year Re-union
15/16 July 2014 London. For the first time all the expedition members came together. Chris was able to join us as he had arranged a family visit to UK to coincide with the 45 year marker. We were joined by Nick's wife Sam.All members were presented with Commemorative copies of the Digitised film
and associated documents on DVD. Also A4 size photographs.
City, University of London Golden Anniversary for
the class of 1969
10 April 1969 London. Held at The City University Mo and Pat were joined by colleagues from Mech Eng : Colin Waters, Martin Benham,Alan Fitzgerald.
A welcoming speech by the University President Professor Sir Paul Curran was followed by a tour of the University Laboratories and Lunch in the Northampton Suite.

Highbury Hill 50 year Re-union
15/16 July 2019 Edinburgh. Mo and Nick met up with other colleagues and wives for re-union of Highbury Hill residents. Activities organized by local man Charles Pearson included a boat trip on the Firth of Forth and a showingof The City University Africa Expedition 1969 film by Mo and Nick.
Expedition 50 year Re-union
30/31 August 2019 London. For the second time all members met up. Chris again arranged a family holiday in UK.On this occasion we were joined for lunch by Chris's sister Diane ,who had been so instrumental in re-establishing our full Expedition Team , and colleague Colin Waters.Mo and Chris - breakfast at the Natural Kitchen |
