       This is the travel diary of The City University Africa Expedition undertaken
50 years ago. Four City graduates travelled overland to Sierra Leone crossing the Western Sahara Desert.

The objective of the Expedition was to study the social,economic,educational and technological advances after 10 years of Independence.
