humid, very lazy weather

Got up at 08:30; wrote a letter (home) and walked around a bit before lunch.
Two reporters from the Sierra Leone Daily Mail interviewed us and photographed us with Mr & Mrs Roda Watfa. Went to immigration office in the afternoon and then to Delco House to arrange a trip to S.L.D.C. iron mines. We will go next thursday 09/10/69 leaving at 08:00 to arrive at 10:00. Mr Read (assistant resident director} arranged this for us and we are to ask for the personnel manager on site at Marampa. Mr Patrick Lawrence will show us around and lunch will be provided
Had coke and coffee at Mo's uncle's and sister's shops.
Had a haircut at Roda's house and excellent meal in the evening ( as well as breakfast and lunch par excellent) Went to bed at 22:20
