Rose at 08:15 to an audience of Arab boys. Washed in the river and went on to the dam. Met Lewis Stansfield (Cementation Ltd)and he showed us all round the dam. Went in the dam control tunnel which they were grouting. Due for completion in 1971.
Part of the Morrocan scheme to build 30 dams (only 10 completed so far). This dam is being paid for by Iraq. Had a good meal in the works canteen and then left for Marrakesh. Messed about looking for the other camp site after we had found the T.C.M. one. Eventually we came back to the T.C.M. after we found out it was the only one in Marrakesh. Had supper of bread cheese and tomatoes. Developed some films, had a shower and did some washing.
