Day 9 - 02/09/69 Martil

Spent the day on the beach with Jan and Alex. Very good swimming and excellent sand. Lunch of sardines and salad at a beach restaurant. Invited to a Doctor's villa for the evening. Went into Tetuan in the afternoon to get my glasses repaired - went in Tim's L/R with Mo and Jan. Came back late and did not met the Doctor until 7 pm. Had mint tea and cake at his villa in the guests room. Couches all round the sides of the room and small tables in the middle.
Moonir danced and everybody else had a go.Not very successful myself but it raised a good laugh. The two girls were invited to stay with the Doctor at Rabat but they wisely declined doubting his honest intentions.They leave tomorrow at 07:30 for Fez.
I got somewhat burnt on the back of my legs today but nowhere else as the suntan oil was well rubbed in everywhere else.
