Arrived on the outskirts of Paris at 06:30 just as work was starting. Navigated to wrong camp site and then to correct one.Met Ron Hollyman at the camp site.
Put up tent and had lunch. Started a Scotsman's Merc (he was en-route to Switzerland with his Swiss wife and son and daughter to sell cloth). Had a whisky and coffee in his caravan. Went to the bank and then into the centre of Paris. No lights in places due to electricity strike. Coachloads of armed police and soldiers in the centre due to student troubles/protests.Beer in a bar, restaurant meal and a walk around Pigella.
