SLST visit 14/10/69
Arrived at SLST at 07:45 ( a little late as usual!) Met Personnel Manager Mr West and were shown around by an African. Saw 2 cuts, number 12 plant, the separation plant and machine workshops. Adib was shown around as well and we travelled in Kassim's car (reg KB 8888). Had lunch there of steak & kidney pie followed by fruit & cream.Very good.
Unfortunately we did not get a flight in the company helicopter which had been promised.
Joe'es wife and children arrived by plane from Freetown.Had dinner with Hanni. Went to the Casino and left at about 01:20.
