Day 12 - 05/09/69 Fez

Cool start at 07:30

Patched the exhaust pipe using two jubilee clips which I bought in Fez. Had some beers at the camp site with Tim and the girls. Had meal in Fez and then walked around the old part of Fez. Old men and women sitting and looking and attempting to eke out a living selling odds and ends. The houses were very dirty and smelly and hundreds of little children were playing in the alley ways.
The locals appeared to despise us as tourists, especially the girls in their western dress. Looking on them as "loose women". Had coffee in Fez on way back to camp site and then went for a swim in the camp pool. Supper and a sing-song and then to bed.
