Arrived at TCU at 11.30 am. Departed at 12:20 pm after a very good send off.
Press presnt included Daily Telegraph,Sun ,Islington Gazette,Meccano Assosiated Press, Nature Magazine.
People present: Universuty Chancellor Professor Tait, Professor Levy,
Mr Heppenstall, President of OLd N'Ions Tony Burnett, Ted Willot,Terry Page,Miss Neadham, Mrs Gray.
Went to Fulham Landrover Garage to get steering damper relay but could not get it.
Back to Tonbidge for a meal and left at 7:50 pm. Arrived at New Haven at 9:00 pm. Had a drink in the White Hart before catching the ferry.
