An easy journey despite the ripples and soft sand to K569. Chris got stuck once in sand but we were out in 5 minutes. A French family were staying at K569 and we felt somewhat embarrassed at turning up. We made a move to leave after having one beer but that was taken as an indication that we would like another. After that we tried to leave but dinner was ready. A truly superb meal with much (too much) wine. We said our farewells and left but trouble hit us - ignition warning light flashed on and stayed on. We messed with the voltage regulator but eventually returned to K569 and stayed the night, even more embarrassed this time. The engineer tested the voltage regulator and said it was OK. Cleaned and checked the dynamo and that was OK.
